PUBLIC NOTICE


PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 93–94 OF GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK REGULATIONS 2019 (CTH) AND SECTION 15 OF THE MARINE PARKS REGULATION 2017 (QLD)


PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT COMMERCIAL JET SKI OPERATION WITHIN MARINE NATIONAL PARK (GREEN) ZONES, MAGNETIC ISLAND.


Notice is hereby given that ADRENALIN JET SKI TOURS PTY LTD has applied to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Department of Environment and Science (the Managing Agencies) for permission to conduct a commercial tourism program, being guided jet ski tours, in the Marine National Park (Green) Zones of Magnetic Island in the Townsville/Whitsunday Management Areas of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.



Adrenalin Jet Ski Tours Pty Ltd proposes to conduct daily interpretive guided jet ski tours including sight-seeing and swimming within Florence Bay, Gowrie Bay, Radical Bay and Five Beach Bay (excluding Lovers Bay and Wilsons Bay) of Magnetic Island with a maximum of 10 participants using 6 personal water craft.
