Residents seem to forget that every time they contact TCC to report a wandering dog, cats being on the island, illegal camping, complaints about parking etc. Council records and notes all those complaints.
When you contact our Div 3 Councillor or the Mayor with complaints they are noted and taken onboard.
Every time you attend group meetings and complain about the above issues those meetings are recorded. MIRRA meetings are aslo voice recorded.
Every time you choose to have a whinge on the facebook Magnetic Island private group pages which are numerous and varied - someone from council or the state govt is a member of that group.
Our advice to residents is "Be careful what you wish for..."
Because the next step will be parking meters, parking inspectors and more compliance officers coming to the island.
