WORLD OCEANS DAY




SeaLink North Queensland and the Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) have teamed up to offer a memorable World Oceans Day reef event on Saturday 8 June.

 

This event honours dedication to reef conservation and features an impressive lineup of marine experts, including Professor John "Charlie" Veron, Professor Peter Harrison, Dr. Katharina Fabricius, and young environmentalist Molly Steer. These Ocean Sentinels will be present to share their knowledge and passion for marine environment.

 

This unique Great Barrier Reef snorkelling day tour gives you access to meet four of the eight inspiring Ocean Sentinels onboard while you immerse yourself in a blend of art, science, culture and conservation providing a one-of-a-kind experience.

 

Dive into 4 hours at John Brewer Reef swimming in crystal clear water, amazing coral, marine life whilst exploring the MOUA Ocean Sentinels snorkel trail.  Morning and afternoon tea, buffet lunch, talks by the four MOUA sentinels as well as snorkelling gear is all included.
