REMEMBRANCE DAY Service on Magnetic Island

Remembrance Day Memorial Service held at the Magnetic Island RSL Sub branch in Hayles Ave Arcadia was well attended by both local residents and visitors to the island.

Sub Branch President Mr. Geoff Barlow gave an impassioned speech asking us to remember the huge toll WW1 took on the families and communites around Australia of those who served.

Several Wreaths were laid, the voice of the late Colin Fulford recited The Exhoration

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.

Andrew Dajski played The Last Post.

It was a very moving service.
