NEW YEARS EVE


This year, Council New Years Eve celebrations will be held at three locations:

  • Riverway

    • Event: 5pm – 8:30pm, 6pm Movie (Dora – The Lost City of Gold), and 8pm Fireworks


  • The Strand

    • Fireworks at 8pm and midnight, Brophy’s amusements will be activating Strand Park, Friday, 17 December 2021 – Sunday, 9 January 2022


  • Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island

    • Fireworks at midnight
