A stellar line-up of musical talent is coming to Townsville Civic Theatre for Morning Melodies 2022.
The popular live daytime entertainment is on sale now, including the full Morning Melodies 2022 Package.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said the program was always a big hit with locals.
“Morning Melodies is more than just a live show, it’s a chance to catch up with friends and enjoy a fun-filled morning out each month,” Cr Greaney said.
“This year’s program is jam-packed with remarkable performers, including pianist and comedian David Scheel, a morning of Celtic music with 33 1/3, and the Friends of the Theatre Variety Concert.
“There’s something for everyone at Morning Melodies and I’d encourage locals to book their tickets now, or better yet, go ahead and buy the Morning Melodies 2022 Package.
“The package covers the whole 2022 program and costs $90. Single event tickets are $17.50, including morning tea.
“Tickets are $15 for groups of 10 or more, plus Theatre VIP Members save 10 per cent.”
Cr Greaney said it was essential for attendees to be vaccinated.
“In line with advice from Queensland Health, all visitors to the Civic Theatre must be double vaccinated and show proof upon entry,” she said.
“Masks are also essential indoors and we ask that visitors socially distance whenever possible.
“Council will continue to adhere to advice provided by Queensland Health, and as such requirements to visit Civic Theatre may change throughout the year.”
This year’s first Morning Melodies performance, David Scheel’s Don’t Shoot Me, I’m STILL Only the Piano Player!, is on March 16.
