Congratulations to Magnetic Jet Ski Tours who have been nominated into the 2021 Queensland Community Achievement Awards.
The Queensland Community Achievement Awards began in 2002, these awards recognise those that work tirelessly to improve their communities by promoting the social, economic and environmental prosperity.
Magnetic Jet Ski Tours has been nominated for the Ricoh Australia Customer Service Award.
The long running island business was established in the mid 1990’s, Pete and Sharon Smith purchased the business in 1999.
The couple are hands on with every aspect of the business, working 7 days a week, weather permitting from Horseshoe Bay.
Pete is the tour guide taking self-drive customers, around the Island’s amazing coastline. Sharon handles all of the bookings, book keeping, social media and posting customer images from every tour.
The family owned business is committed to quality & affordable tourism.
Sharon told the MCN “It is and has been our privilege to share this exhilarating experience with people of all ages from all over the world for more than 20 years.
This is our Island home, we value and respect everything about this incredible Island destination and are passionate about sustainable tourism. In keeping with the relaxed laid back, family friendly and welcoming community that Magnetic Island offers.”
Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 5th November 2021.
