Gustav Creek New Characteristics.

Just a point for those who might want to know…….that the speed of the once, twice or even three times  wet season downstream flows will increase dramatically without the restrictive Sooning St culvert bridge structure.

That means sand will flow downstream more efficiently, which will help in keeping the exotics from growing in the creek bed and might form more waterholes.

It will also mean that the historic flood water levels that I am used to seeing since the 1960’s will be a thing of the past. Councill will have to redraw the flood levels.

Without the resistor the School grounds might flood less ……. All to be looked forward to in the upcoming weeks ahead.
