SAVE THE PICNIC BAY JETTY
Magnetic Island residents and many from Townsville held a rally on the Picnic Bay Jetty. It was feared the jetty would either be removed completely or the head would be. Community leaders, politicians and the residents all came out in force. People Power won on the day and the Picnic Bay Jetty was saved!
