Get your act together for 2021! The Northern Fringe Festival (NFF) team is more excited than ever to bring you the Northern Fringe Festival in 2021 after the success of the inaugural 2019 event. The focus of the 2021 festival is to raise its profile and attract more arts groups to showcase and provide easier access to high calibre art

In July 2019, Townsville presented the inaugural Northern Fringe Festival which ran alongside the North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA).
NAFA provided the overarching branding and marketing umbrella to these new and exciting events and presented a line-up of local, national and international acts complimented by a month-long curated arts and cultural program.
The Northern Fringe Festival – in spirit of Fringe Festivals across the globe - is an inclusive and organic and open access festival featuring all forms of art and performance. It is envisioned that the Northern Fringe Festival will become a welcomed addition to the Australian Fringe Festival scene.
