The public toilets at Picnic Bay have been closed now for almost 3 weeks due to system failure and nearby tree roots.

TCC will be installing demountable toilets next Tuesday after delays due lockdown restrictions and availability from the hire company.

TCC spokesperson told the MCN “ Demountable toilets will be on site as of Tuesday 13th July and will be located next to the car park on Camoomilli Street."

TCC spokesperson went on to say “Council is in the planning stages for the construction of new toilets at Picnic Bay which will inform the tender process and infrastructure needed in the area.”
