Maggie Island Artists (MIA - really says it all) is a fluid group who meet each Wednesday morning in different locations around the island to draw, paint or photograph and create art.
We love to share and experiment with our art and work in a non-judgmental and relaxed environment where we can both enjoy and document the beautiful landscapes of our island together.
We are a group of friends with various skills from diverse backgrounds and so welcome members to bring along a friend for a morning session.
MIA are having an exhibition at Louver Gallery corner Jean and Dorothy Sts, Nelly Bay beginning on 26th March and going right through Easter until Sunday 18th April.
The gallery will be open from 10-2pm every Thursday to Sunday with an artist or two available for a chat during those hours.
If you can't make it during those times call Viv Moran on 0419 797 634 and she will see what she can organise.
Purchased artworks can be picked up on 21st April or by appointment.
Please come along to see what we have been up to every Wednesday and buy some art to help support our island artists.
This is a COVIDSafe venue so you will need to sign in and only ten people will be able to view the artwork at any one time.
We hope to see you there.
