History on a postcard reveals postcard messages mostly dated and mostly written by holidaymakers on Magnetic Island. The messages do not always relate to the card image and while some are complimentary others are less so. This 2022 calendar highlights some contemporary commentary that would likely have been lost but for the fine illustrated images that have brought the cards back ‘home’ to Magnetic Island.
The calendar is a limited edition of 175 copies only and sells for $30 including postage within Australia. Calendar orders can be made by email (mihccmagneticmuseum@gmail.com) and will be ready for distribution in October.
