Forts Construction Restarts

Construction of the Forts Junction Hub has started again today Monday 4th January 2021.

Key messages:

• From the 4th of January, there will be NO PARKING for vehicles or scooters at the Forts Junction area, until further notice.

• Access to the Radical Bay Road will be CLOSED to all but essential traffic for a 2-3 week period – this includes pedestrian access.

• Walkers can access Radical Bay Road via alternative route from Horseshoe Bay.

• Traffic disruptions will occur, and motorists should allow for delays when traveling between Horseshoe Bay and Arcadia.

• The Forts Walk will remain open most of the time, but delays and closures may occur.

• Visitors using the Forts Walk are encouraged to catch the bus or use the island’s trail network.
